In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for generating net-new pipeline, building relationships with key Labor stakeholders, and closing complex multi-employer deals - all in service of bringing Maven's industry-leading women's and family health platform to union members and their families who need it most. You will report to the VP of Sales and work cross-functionally with Client Success, Marketing, and Product to position Maven as the go-to women's and family health partner for Labor funds across the country. As a Senior Sales Director, Labor at Maven, you will: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Taft-Hartley market - owning pipeline generation, deal progression, and bookings targets from prospecting through close, while navigating the unique governance structures of multi-employer health & welfare funds Build and deepen a robust network of relationships with key Labor stakeholders - fund administrators, union trustees, benefits consultants, and brokers - serving as a trusted advisor who understands the collective bargaining landscape and can communicate Maven's clinical and financial value at every level Collaborate closely with Client Success, Marketing, and Product to surface market feedback, support RFP/RFI responses, refine Maven's Labor positioning, and ensure seamless handoffs from sale to implementation Represent Maven at key Labor industry conferences, trade shows, and fund events to build brand awareness and source new opportunities in the segment Be a thought leader and champion for the Labor market internally, sharing intelligence from the field to help Maven continuously sharpen its value proposition and go-to-market approach We're looking for you to bring: 6+ years of experience in Labor healthcare sales or consulting, with a demonstrated track record of closing large, complex contracts within the collectively bargained marketplace and consistently exceeding quota Deep subject matter expertise in the Taft-Hartley market - including health & welfare fund operations, collective bargaining strategy, the trustee decision-making process, and ERISA - paired with a strong existing network of fund administrators, consultants, and channel partners Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor complex clinical and financial narratives for a range of audiences - from trustees and fund administrators to benefits consultants A growth mindset and entrepreneurial drive - you thrive in fast-paced environments, are energized by building in a nascent market segment, and are comfortable with ambiguity and travel (approximately 50%) Comfort with data and analytics, with the ability to interpret and discuss performance metrics and financial models fluently in conversations with stakeholders across all levels of understanding The OTE salary range for this role is $330,000-$400,000 per year.
