Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
• Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required)
• Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) - 1:1 Home Care Location: Westland, MI and surrounding area Setting: In-home, one-on-one care Job Summary Centria Healthcare is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 private duty nursing in patients' homes. You'll deliver skilled, personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in a low-stress, relationship-based setting. High-Acuity Pediatric Openings: West Detroit & Westland West Detroit: Infant & Toddler Care 6-Month-Old Baby Boy: A brave little guy with interstitial lung disease. Care includes Trach, Vent, and NG-tube. He has his own room in a very clean, professional home. Non-smokers preferred. Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (All days available, Mon-Sun). 1-Year-Old Baby Boy: A very happy, smiley baby who loves being read to! He is Trach, Vent, and G-tube dependent. Parents are very organized and helpful. Shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Saturdays). 2-Year-Old Girl: Requires a skilled RN with pediatric trach/vent experience. Very helpful parents and a friendly cat (kept upstairs). Shifts: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Mondays, E/O Saturday, & PRN). 4-Year-Old Boy: An active child who loves being outside and having fun! Trach, Vent, and G-tube management. Home has two small hypoallergenic dogs. Shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Fridays). Westland: Sweet Weekend Opportunity 1-Year-Old Girl: A very sweet little girl with Trisomy 21. She is Trach and G-tube dependent and on a ventilator 24/7. She lives in a super cozy, clean home with very nice parents. Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Every Other Saturday)
