Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 0-2 years manufacturing laboratory experience
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established protocols to assist the production of complex organic molecules and modified oligonucleotides
  • Demonstrated basic chemistry, math and analytical skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system Working knowledge of MRP and ERP systems is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required; including demonstrated experience in GMP.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft office and Outlook
  • Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated GMP manufacturing environment under ISO 13485/or 21 CFR 820
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or Chemistry highly preferred

Position Summary: Seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Manufacturing Chemist with experience in oligonucleotide and analytical instrument to join our Primer Manufacturing group. The candidate should have a good understanding of purification techniques used in the manufacture of complex nucleotides, such as Ion Exchange and Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography is preferred but not required. The candidate should have at least one year of chemistry bench experience in synthetic processes.
