About the role

Are you looking to be part of a great Maintenance Team? Otterbein is looking to add a dedicated and motivated Maintenance Technician II to their team! The position is full-time (32 hours per week) and the hours are 8a-4p, Mon-Fri with on-call responsibilities every other weekend. Candidates with experience and a willingness to be part of a great team are encouraged to apply. The position starts at $18.00/hr and increases with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for the residents, their families, visitors and partners.
  • Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
  • Assists with moving of residents' furnishings as needed.
  • Paints residents' living quarters as needed.
  • Assists with the on-going preventative maintenance program of cleaning, repairing and operating equipment, which minimizes abnormal equipment failure.
  • Assists with transportation tasks as needed.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education : High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Licensure/Certification : Must have a valid Ohio driver's license and be insurable
  • Experience: HVAC and electrical required, maintenance experience in a maintenance department and prior experience in a health care facility preferred
