About the role

Site Services Supervisor - Limerick (Regeneron) Avantor is seeking a motivated and hands-on Site Services Supervisor to support our Laboratory Services team at a major biopharmaceutical manufacturing site in Limerick. This is an operational, on-site role focused on coordinating daily stockroom and VMI activities, supporting team performance and ensuring services are delivered safely and efficiently within a GMP environment. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee a small on-site team delivering inventory and stockroom services. You will support day-to-day operations, help maintain service standards and act as a point of contact for site stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on work, team coordination and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Operations
  • Support daily VMI and stockroom activities across manufacturing and lab areas
  • Coordinate workload and priorities within the team
  • Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain documentation and ensure readiness for audits
  • Customer & Stakeholder Support
  • Act as a day-to-day contact for site stakeholders
  • Communicate any issues or delays in a timely manner
  • Support regular service reviews and feedback discussions
  • Performance & Compliance
  • Monitor service performance and support KPI tracking
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, EHS and site procedures
  • Support audits and inspections as required
  • Team Support
  • Coordinate a small team of on-site associates
  • Provide guidance, training and day-to-day support
  • Support onboarding of new team members
  • Encourage collaboration and cross-training
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows
  • Support implementation of simple improvements to enhance efficiency

Requirements

  • Education
  • Leaving Certificate (required)
  • Relevant qualification (desirable, not essential)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory, team lead or senior operational role
  • Experience in inventory control, stockroom or warehouse operations
  • Experience in a regulated (GMP/GLP) environment is an advantage
  • Experience working with KPIs or service levels is beneficial
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic systems and Excel skills
