  • Minimum Requirements for Senior Project Engineer- Multi-Disciplinary Engineering :
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in space systems.
  • Experience in technical project management, scoping projects and leveraging inter-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cutting-edge technology applicable to remote sensing, communications, or computation as applied to space systems.
  • Experience in Geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) OR signals intelligence (SIGINT) technologies.
  • Ability to be proactive, think strategically, and anticipate needs.
  • Willing to travel domestically up to approximately 10% of time.
  • This position requires a current and active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

The Advanced Research and Engineering (AR&E) Sub-Division is seeking an innovative and proactive Advanced Research Studies Lead (Senior Project Engineer - Multi-Disciplinary Engineering) to tackle some of the nation's most critical and complex challenges in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and R&D ground architectures. The mission of AR&E is to research, develop, and demonstrate next-generation space technologies, and advise on cutting-edge autonomy and machine learning. AR&E leverages expertise and laboratory capabilities from across Aerospace to support cutting-edge R&D for a large intelligence agency. This is a full-time position based in Chantilly, which requires 100% onsite work.
