Requirements

• Extensive technical experience: A proven track record of 6-10+ years as a hands-on software engineer, with deep expertise in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and software design principles.
• System architecture: Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration. They are capable of designing scalable, robust, and maintainable systems.
• Leadership and influence: Strong leadership abilities with a focus on technical direction rather than direct people management. They must be able to inspire and guide a team while effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset: Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills to identify technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical ideas clearly to diverse audiences.

This role is primarily responsible for the technical direction and quality of derivatives portfolio management and accounting within Singularity product. Technical strategy and ownership: Establish the technical vision and direction for major software components and systems. Ensure that architectural designs align with long-term business goals. Complex problem-solving: Tackle the most challenging technical issues, providing innovative and creative solutions that move the project forward and prevent future problems. Hands-on development: Continue to be deeply involved in hands-on coding, especially for critical and complex components of the software. Mentorship and guidance: Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers. Help upskill the team and foster a culture of technical excellence. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, quality assurance engineers, and engineering managers to translate business needs into technical specifications and timelines.
