About the role

ESG Server Software Team 致力於建構支援關鍵邊緣 AI 運算（ Edge AI Computing ）的核心基礎架構。我們深耕伺服器「大腦」 - BMC 的開發，自 2008 年起即堅持自主研發，並持續將業界頂尖技術導入產品。在這裡，你將跳脫瑣碎的例行維護，全程參與從 NPI (New Product Introduction) 研發到產品生命週期的完整創新歷程，親手定義下一代伺服器的管理架構 主要工作內容 (Key Responsibilities) Feature Development & Implementation : Develop and implement server management features within the firmware framework, ensuring robust performance throughout the product lifecycle. Platform Integration : Hands-on firmware integration from Alpha to Production, ensuring seamless hardware-software interactions on x86 platforms. System Optimization & Troubleshooting : Analyze system behaviors to identify bottlenecks and engineer effective solutions for complex firmware issues. Technical Documentation & Standards : Create technical specifications and maintain quality standards to ensure system scalability. Team Collaboration : Work effectively within a cross-functional team, sharing technical insights and contributing to collective success. 人才需具備 (Preferred Qualifications) Bachelor's degree or higher, with 3+ years of experience in system firmware or software development, and a solid understanding of hardware-software interactions . Proven understanding of x86 server architecture , Linux and common networking protocols . Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively in English within a global team environment. Proactive in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Agents) to optimize development workflows, enhance code quality, and improve efficiency. 加分項目 (Considered a Plus) Open Source Contribution : Active participation or development experience in OSP (Open Software Platform), OpenBMC, or OCP (Open Compute Project), demonstrating the ability to contribute to global technology standards. Deep Domain Expertis e: Advanced understanding of server management architectures, including IPMI, Redfish, or complex BMC hardware-software interactions. Modern Engineering Excellence : Practical experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and high-quality firmware delivery. System-Level Insights : Proven proficiency in C programming and Embedded Linux environments, with specialized insights into kernel-level optimization or driver-level development.
