Responsibilities

- Technical skills and tools:

- Tools: Experience with tools/techniques like SQL, Python, Snowflake, AWS, and VS Code - and a passion for using AI tools to work faster and better.

See yourself in our team: As a Chapter Area Lead, you are accountable for the capability and performance of analytics practitioners in your team. Chapter areas span multiple business domains and priorities, so chapter area leads need to create clarity, grow the team and capabilities in line with business needs, and deliver consistently strong outcomes. This role leads one of our largest analytics chapter areas, with 30-40 analytics practitioners across Australia and India. You will partner with senior leaders across the Business Bank, including customer segments, channels, products, and marketing to help improve customer experience, banker effectiveness and business performance. The work is broad. It includes insights analytics (i.e. descriptive and diagnostic analysis to understand what happened and why) as well as advanced analytics (i.e. predictive and prescriptive analytics to identify what is likely to happen and what action we should take). We are looking for someone who is ambitious for customers, commercially sharp, technically credible and passionate about developing people. You lead with ownership, create clarity, remove blockers and continuously look for ways to improve how work gets done.
