Eversource is looking for a talented and motivated Diesel/Automotive technician to join our Fleet team. We offer competitive pay, training, paid CDL training, 401K, vacation, and a great work life balance culture! Training Location : Wareham, MA or Dorchester, MA. (training period is 6 months) (permanent location determined after training period) Department : Fleet Maintenance Starting Pay Rate: $47.26/hr. Upgraded to $57.61/hr. after completion of 6-month training period. Shift differential where applicable. Schedule : Various Shifts Technician Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to trouble shoot, perform inspections and make repairs on chassis, gas/diesel engines, drive trains, rear axles, steering mechanisms, hydraulic/air braking systems, suspensions, cooling systems, wheels, tires, and repair associated construction equipment. Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and preventive maintenance as assigned. Safely handle standard garage materials, chemicals, and maintain a clean & safe work area. Accurately document work using Chevin maintenance program Able to work independently either in the assigned shop or at other locations within the limits of the classification.
