About the role

You will serve as a Safety and Occupational Health Manager in the Naval Intelligence Activity (NIA) Command of the OFFICE OF NAVAL INTELLIGENCE. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-12) or pay band in the federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing leadership with prompt guidance that is technically correct on issues and concerns regarding safety program management, safety policies, and occupational health and safety regulatory matters. Developing safety directives that specify risk communication thresholds and guidelines for implementation. Analyzing mishap statistics and investigative reports. Evaluating economic loss, severity of injuries, environmental conditions surrounding mishaps, isolating causal factors and devising measures to control hazards detected.
