Accounts Executive

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end closing activities by maintaining accurate journal entries and performing monthly reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Prepare and compile financial and management reports to inform and support business decisions
• Develop audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits to ensure compliance and transparency
• Apply corporate tax knowledge to perform accurate tax computations and filings
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries on AGM, statutory audits, and annual tax filings to maintain regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with banks and internal departments to resolve operational financial matters and support smooth financial processes
• Manage the cash book and maintain organized records and supporting documents to ensure bookkeeping accuracy
• Perform ad-hoc finance duties as assigned to support the finance team and organizational objectives
• Required competencies and certifications
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
• Proven ability to handle a full set of accounts independently
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Experience in the real estate or property industry
• Familiarity with tax compliance requirements and accounting practices
• Experience liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and other professional service providers
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to work independently
