  • TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $ 81,200-$121,800 annually for this position and local market.

Job Summary TYLin is seeking a Data Analyst to support the delivery of high-impact advisory services across infrastructure, organizational performance, and technology enablement. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with strong technical analytics skills and an interest in real-world infrastructure and organizational challenges. As a data and analytics specialist embedded within the multidisciplinary Water Advisory team, you will transform complex data into actionable insights that inform strategy, planning, and investment decisions. You will contribute to projects spanning asset management, resilience planning, capital program strategy, digital transformation, and organizational effectiveness, while building modern data workflows, tools, and visualizations that improve how clients understand and manage their systems. Working in a supporting role alongside senior consultants and project teams, you will deliver high-quality, data-driven work products while developing your consulting and technical skillsets. Successful team members demonstrate initiative, engage proactively with colleagues, and are comfortable working with some ambiguity to advance project goals. Responsibilities & Qualifications Analytics & Technical Delivery Develop and maintain data pipelines, queries, and reproducible workflows using tools such as SQL, Python, or similar languages to support data ingestion, integration, and analysis. Perform data cleaning, validation, exploratory analysis, and basic modeling to support advisory deliverables. Build dashboards, reports, and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences. Support spatial and infrastructure-related analysis in collaboration with GIS specialists (e.g., ArcGIS or similar tools). Support financial analyses and economic modeling in collaboration with economics subject matter experts. Contribute to the development of lightweight digital tools and applications (e.g., Power Platform or similar) to streamline workflows and improve decision-making. Advisory Project Support Support multidisciplinary teams across organizational, infrastructure, and technology advisory engagements. Analyze asset data, financial and operational metrics, risk factors, and system performance to inform client recommendations. Translate technical findings into clear, structured outputs (presentations, memos, dashboards). Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and repeatable approaches that enhance TYLin's advisory capabilities. Collaboration & Development Work collaboratively with subject matter experts, engineers, consultants, and technologists across Advisory. Participate in internal knowledge sharing and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in learning new tools, technologies, and infrastructure domains.
