About the role
Our Client is a multinational logistics company providing transportation, warehousing, and supply chain solutions across global markets.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee a high-value, specialised logistics service across the APAC region. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, service expansion, customer engagement, and capability development for sensitive and mission-critical cargo movements.
- Act as the regional subject matter expert, partnering closely with country teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, scalable, and high-quality service delivery;
- Lead the development and standardisation of operational procedures and service frameworks across the region;
- Drive implementation, training, and audit activities to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards;
- Act as the regional lead and subject matter expert for specialised logistics operations and customer engagements;
- Support business growth initiatives by expanding service capabilities, improving operational performance, and driving profitability;
- Manage strategic customer relationships, including escalations, operational reviews, and solution discussions;
- Collaborate with safety and operational teams to strengthen risk management and compliance practices;
- Support the setup and coordination of regional operational control and monitoring functions where required;
- Lead onboarding and implementation activities for new customers and projects;
- Partner with commercial and solutions teams to support pricing, solution design, and customer proposals.
Requirements
- At least 8 to 12 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or specialised operational environments;
- Strong understanding of logistic operations handling high-value or technical equipment;
- Experience managing regional operations and engaging directly with enterprise customers;
- Strong operational problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural environments;
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders;
- Hands-on leadership style with experience building and scaling operational capabilities.
