We're on the lookout for a Head Housekeeper to join our crew at Hyde London City. You will be responsible for the overall management of the housekeeping department and team. Your role is to deliver exceptionally clean rooms and public spaces, within budget, and with a happy and engaged team. What you'll do... Take the lead in ensuring our guests experience spotless and well put together rooms that they want to come back to Manage a team of high-energy people who love our guests, by setting and monitoring goals, empowering and developing them, and creating an environment where people can be themselves. Management of departmental costs and ensure that all expenses are kept in line with budget guidelines, managing and control Housekeeping stock and monitor orders. Take responsibility in keeping our standards for bedrooms and public areas high, through SOPs, relevant training and regular checks Work closely with other teams (Front Office, Maintenance and F&B) towards the overall goal of creating a memorable experience in a beautiful space Play a part in our partnership with our external housekeeping providers. What we're looking for... Previous housekeeping experience at a similar level, preferably within a lifestyle brand. An eagle-eye for detail, you can spot a slip in standards from a mile away Experience of Opera Cloud or a similar front desk operating system would be an advantage A natural at leading and managing others, you lead by example and create an environment where your team can be their best self. You're great at motivating others to keep to your own high standards of service Individuals. You're looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here.
