Registered Nurse Clinical Manager, PICU

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of Registered Nurse clinical experience
• Strong pediatric critical care background; Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience preferred
• Demonstrated informal or emerging leadership experience, such as charge nurse responsibilities, precepting, or project team participation
• Schedule:
• Position is scheduled for straight night shifts
• Four (4) 10‑hour shifts per week , with scheduled hours of either 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM
• Weekend call rotation required approximately every 5-6 weeks

Description of role: The Registered Nurse Clinical Manager is responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight for day-to-day patient care operations. This role supports staffing coordination and scheduling, addresses operational staffing challenges, participates in department and organizational projects, and provides clinical support during night operations. The Clinical Manager directly supervises approximately 30-40 staff members and is accountable for performance management, coaching, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
