Material Distribution Specialist - 2nd Shift - Shipping **$1k Sign-On Bonus**

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
• Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
• Moving, stocking, receiving, and packing outbound warehouse merchandise
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks
• Read and interpret blueprints and order acknowledgment
• Properly crate and protect materials using hand and power tool
• Work with Replacement Part orders, shipping instructions and regulations
• Understand types of fixtures to use for picking and moving each type of product
• Understand DOT rules and regulations for transport of all types of loads on highways
• Maintain clean work area and participate in 5s standards
• Troubleshoot basic issues and problems

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of manufacturing experience
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and 40-100 lbs with assistance of others or lifting equipment provided
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and order acknowledgment.
• Basic computer skills
• Certified to drive a forklift or have the skills to obtain certification and perform maintenance checks each use
• 1 to 2 years' experience in related fields preferred
• Prepare bills of lading and shipping reports
• Check off shipments and observe truck loading operations, bracing and securing of loads to insure safe arrival
• Interpret order acknowledgment as to ship loose bill of material
• Understand the procedure for chaining and securing the units to the trailer for safe and damage free transport to the end customer
• Be able to perform these duties in all types of weather
• Certified Welder preferred, but not required

• The compensation range for this position is $21.00-$22.50 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
