Senior Lift Elevator Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance and servicing to keep lifts running safely and reliably
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults across mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Resolve technical problems promptly and see each job through to completion
• Respond to breakdowns and entrapments, restoring service quickly and safely
• Monitor lift performance and recommend preventive measures to reduce breakdowns
• Maintain accurate service records and report recurring issues for follow-up
• Share findings from troubleshooting to raise overall workmanship and service quality
• Guide and mentor junior technicians on site, where needed

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, or relevant trade certification with strong field experience
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience servicing and repairing lift systems
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems across multiple brands
• A dependable team player, able to guide and advise junior technicians
• Mature, proactive, and driven, with good communication skills
