You will be responsible for planning, implementing and directing District administrative programs in support of the mission of the United States Marshals Service. GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted). You may qualify at the GS-0341-13 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualifications: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability:1) Advising management on budgetary matters such as status of funds, acquisition plans, account shortfalls, and financial regulation compliance; 2) Projecting current year expenditure (both deficit and surpluses) based on year-to-date budgetary information; 3) Applying a variety of purchasing regulations, methods, and procedures to acquire services and supplies using purchase orders, blanket purchase agreements, or fixed price negotiated contracts; and 4) Providing assistance with reviewing or entering monthly open obligation reports to ensure accurate status of obligations, accruals, and paid transactions IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC.
