POSITION SUMMARY: The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all transportation activities withing the department and ensuring that guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience for the duration of their stay. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Coordinates transportation services for guests and employees, ensuring timely and efficient transportation to and from various locations. Oversee the scheduling of transportation services, ensuring that vehicles and drivers are properly assigned and available as needed. Communicates proactively and works with onsite teams at any Big Cedar property to resolve concerns, keep consistent information and maintain up to date collaboration strategies Monitor transportation operations and address any issues or challenges that may arise, ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation activities, including daily logs and trip reports. Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and housekeeping, to ensure smooth coordination of transportation services throughout the property. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Degree: NA Certificate(s) or License(s): None Years of experience: 1-2 years in transportation coordination or dispatch KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Basic Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.). Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography, and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Analytical/Critical Thinking - The ability to gather and organize information using a logical and systematic process; recognize patterns and relationships in complex data; examine data to identify implications, problems and draw appropriate conclusions; generate alternative solutions to problems; evaluate strengths, weaknesses and consequences of alternative solutions and approaches to solving problems. Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
