Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 90% of the day).
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds, and performing physical activities with children (e.g., running, jumping, etc.).
• Comfortable traveling between schools.

The Field Teacher Trainer/Senior Field Teacher (FTT/SFT) plays a pivotal role in supporting and transforming classrooms across multiple schools, providing guidance and assistance to teaching teams, and helping foster a positive learning environment for both children and educators. This dynamic position is designed to support schools in achieving their educational goals while also offering professional development opportunities for the FTT/SFT teacher. The FTT/SFT will travel between schools within a designated region, providing hands-on assistance in classroom management, curriculum implementation, and teacher support. As a FTT/SFT, you will collaborate with a variety of age groups, educators and leadership styles, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our educational practices and helping cultivate a cohesive and nurturing learning atmosphere. You will act as both a mentor and a resource for teachers, sharing best practices, modeling effective teaching strategies, and assisting with classroom transformations while also filling in for the Assist Director (AD) and Executive Director (ED).
