Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in procedural and processing requirements for various business non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions with USCSI and consular applications (DS160), including but not limited to E1/E2, L1A/L1B and L Blanket, H, L, TN, O,P , PERM, I-140, AOS, etc.
- Communicate effectively in Japanese and English with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and other stakeholders regarding case documents, case status, and procedural requirements
- Independently analyze case documents and prepare business immigration applications for attorney review and submission
- Take ownership of your case docket, ensuring timely communication with clients and attorneys
- Assist with review of Japanese-language documents and communications, as needed
- Stay up to date with immigration developments and share information with the team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent training, education, and experience
- Fluency in Japanese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
- Previous experience in preparing business immigration applications with USCSI and Consular processing, including demonstrated understanding of visa petitions such as E1/E2, L1A/L1B, L Blanket, H, L, TN, OP, PERM, I-140, AOS, etc.
- Experience with other types of immigration matters is a plus
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while handling a high volume of cases
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse professionals.
