Payroll Specialist - SuccessFactors Project

About the role

Review and update test cases to ensure payroll and business requirements are met Execute SIT test cases, raise and retest defects Support Payroll Parallel Run Testing (PPRT), including validation and reconciliation Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect triage Provide subject matter expertise in payroll to project and operational teams Validate payroll outputs including awards, rules, and compliance requirements Support payroll data reconciliation across EC, ECP, and ECC Assist with STP validation, payroll posting, and financial reconciliation Provide hypercare support post go-live About you You're a payroll specialist first and foremost, with strong end-to-end understanding and the ability to apply that expertise in a project and testing environment. Extensive experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or Payroll Specialist Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge, including compliance and legislation Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Solid experience with Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and/or SAP ECC Experience supporting payroll implementation, transformation, or upgrade projects Proven involvement in SIT and/or PPRT testing activities Strong reconciliation, validation, and payroll balancing skills (incl. WTR) Understanding of STP reporting, payroll postings, and finance reconciliation Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve payroll defects/issues Strong stakeholder engagement across HR, payroll, finance, and technical teams
