About the role
You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (ENTARCH/SYSANALYSIS) in the READINESS REPORTING BRANCH of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND. To qualify for the IT SPECIALIST (ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE/SYSTEMS ANALYSIS), GS-2210-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies 1. Attention to detail 2. Customer Service 3. Oral Communication 4. Problem Solving. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing all activities of the Software development life-cycle to include, but not limited to, Agile-based project management, software release management, contract management and financial management, Risk Management Framework (RMF), software development life cycle, change management and process development, IT operations, incident management and policy interpretation. Experience applying business process engineering concepts and methods sufficient to lead/conduct studies designed to identify potential improvements in the way information technology is applied to key business functions. Experience developing and interpreting policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services throughout the agency. Experience providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues. Experience applying new developments to previously unsolvable problems and making decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important agency IT policies or programs. Experience applying interrelationships of multiple IT specialties, the agency's IT architecture, new IT developments and applications, emerging technologies and their applications to business processes, IT security concepts, standards, and methods, project management principles, methods, and practices.
