Resident Technical Officer (M&E)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in overseeing construction projects, particularly in M&E systems
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards relevant to M&E systems
• Experience with quality control processes and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors, consultants, and team members
• Work location will be at Sentosa on 5.5 days work week
• Salary Package include basic salary, AWS and gratuity bonus

Additional Information

Good co-ordination skills and good technical knowledge of M&E systems/ equipment To carry out regular site supervision and inspection of the works/materials including any off-site production as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that mechanical and electrical works, including security systems, are constructed to required quality, accuracy and workmanship To monitor work in progress in accordance to Approved Master Schedules with breakdown to Monthly, Weekly and Daily programmes To assist the RE on daily, weekly and monthly reports of site progress as per contractor's approved program, activities, issues and resolutions To check and verify reports, variations and progress claims submitted by contractors, including as built quantity for the variations To undertake any other duties related to the project as and when instructed by the SO and RE.
