Responsibilities
- Under limited supervision, plan, design, implement, and maintain the university's enterprise network and telecommunications systems to meet performance objectives and service level agreements:

- Raise visibility of issues and collaborate with the extended team on automation processes, fault detection, standardized operations, and lifecycle management:
- Use monitoring and reporting tools to identify network and wireless issues.
- Support upgrades, recurring issue tracking, and lifecycle planning for network infrastructure.
- Provide escalation support for network design, troubleshooting, and after-hours on-call activities:
- Provide escalation support for network and wireless outages, design issues, and complex troubleshooting.
- Assist with after-hours support, maintenance work, and incident response as needed.
- Driving university-owned vehicles to job sites is required for this position. Maintain acceptable driver rating as established in Policy UTS157.

The Enterprise Network Engineer II will plan, design, implement, maintain, and optimize campus wireless infrastructure; support RF coverage and capacity improvements; troubleshoot and remediate wireless issues; contribute to monitoring, lifecycle management, and operational standardization; and partner with ET and campus stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing wireless connectivity for end users across the University.
