A Global Financial Crime Division (GFCD) AVP position based in Singapore One Changi City Office responsible for supporting centralized governance and oversight of the financial crime programs and frameworks of the MUFG Partner Banks. Drive the development and implementation of strategic or phased plans to continually enhance the Partner Banks' processes alignment with MUFG's Global Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) Policies and Standards, including comprehensive accountability and execution in governance, consistent end-to-end tracking and reporting to senior management. Provide day-to-day support to Partner Banks in identifying, assessing, and remediating gaps against Global FCC Policies and Standards following annual refreshes and trigger events. This includes understanding and addressing challenges associated with implementing global financial crime standards, particularly in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption. Cultivate a strong positive partnership between GFCD and Partner Banks by providing end-to-end and cross-functional oversight to identify gaps and trends within the FCC framework and collaborate with GFCD subject-matter experts to develop interactive improvement plans for the Partner Banks. Establish and maintain business relationships between GFCD and Partner Banks by initiating program strategic initiatives, providing project-based and subject matter expert advisory support as needed to mitigate emerging FCC risks or issues. Support Partner Banks through the annual Global Risk Assessment process for all FCC risk areas. Facilitate monthly governance forums and other FCC program-related meetings between GFCD and the Partner Banks to strengthen communication and collaborative engagement on financial crimes risk matters, including operational risks and related challenges. Support the monitoring of Partner Banks regulatory and audit engagements, including insights into findings / observations stemming from associated reviews. Support general compliance activities and perform other duties, including ad hoc reporting, special projects, regulatory engagement, as assigned. Develop sound understanding of the MUFG FCC framework, including the responsibilities and accountability of the Internal Audit and Compliance Testing functions. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Crimes Compliance or Risk Management areas Experience managing and tracking projects or organizational objectives Experience coordinating meetings attended by organizational senior management or business clients Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Independent and detail-oriented self-starter Collaborative goal-achieving individual Excellent problem-solving skills Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word We regret to inform that only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
