Full-Stack Engineer II

Requirements

• You take pride in delivering high-quality and powerful products to customers while also championing technical excellence
• You have 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, including familiarity with the different pieces of technology involved in building modern web applications
• Experience applying AI tools and best practices to enhance efficiency, code quality and delivery of business objectives.
• You have experience writing server-side code leveraging modern OOP practices, ideally using Ruby and PostgreSQL
• You have experience building interfaces with React and modern component-based interfaces
• You have a strong understanding of relational databases and the ability to design and implement systems that scale and avoid performance bottlenecks
• You're eager to contribute your ideas and experiences to help Affinity continuously improve as a product and as a company.
• Tech stack
• Our platform is built with React and TypeScript on the front end, and with Ruby and PostgreSQL on the back end. Our infrastructure is hosted by AWS and runs on Kubernetes.

Reporting to the Sr Engineering Manager, as a Software Engineer II , you'll have the opportunity to push our product in new directions while also shaping the next iterations of the features our customers already love.
