About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Courses at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. The purpose of this position is to provide mowing services to fairways, roughs and greens; weed control and fertilizer application on the golf course. Frequently lifts and carries objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, may lift objects weighing more with assistance. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 05/27/2026 Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference Qualifying Experience: Experience which demonstrates the ability to manipulate both tractor and equipment controls at the same time; knowledge of equipment to make connection on mechanical drive shafts and hydraulic lines; and skill to manipulate equipment over different types of terrain. Must have experience in operating and performing maintenance on field-type tractors and associated equipment. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to frequently stoop, bend, reach and climb. Exposed to extreme heat; possibility of cuts and bruises.
