We are actively seeking a Manager, Sales Development . This role reports to the Regional GM. This hybrid role is based in Sydney , with office attendance expected on anchor days. Position Summary As the Manager, Sales Development you will grow and lead a team of talented sales development representatives to deliver qualified leads to help support the ANZ sales goals. This critical role is a key contributor in building and executing a sales development plan to hit company lead targets. The ideal candidate thinks strategically but also executes plans with a sense of urgency required to meet our aggressive goals. The ideal candidate is a team player, working in close collaboration with both marketing and sales to hit the targets. You'll be actively involved in ensuring the success of the individuals in your team and will lead with confidence through demonstrated expertise in all aspects of the sales development process including the latest technologies and methodologies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Player coach role Collaborate with sales and marketing management team to build outbound prospecting campaigns Manage, lead and support a mix of experienced and new lead generation team members to over-achieve assigned lead quotas Hire top talent to join the sales development team Onboard and train new sales development representatives with process, content and system skills Partner with the field sales organization to ensure goals, deliverables and expectations are aligned and met Weekly communications with sales executives and sales operations on lead attainments Define and deploy best practice prospecting methodologies and processes across all aspects of the lead generation workflow Coaching and mentoring individual contributors Analyze and segment target markets and develop appropriate messaging and tools to support Collaborate with product marketing to ensure the team is fully trained in the various products supported Collaborate with Demand Gen and Marketing Operations campaign communication and hand-off Passionately engage with the Sales Development team in day-to-day, hands-on prospecting activities to demonstrate best practices and show how results can be achieved Leverage marketing operations for metric reporting and systems update needs Monitor and report on lead quota & qualified pipeline attainment on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis Stay abreast on industry best practices, technologies and methodologies and ensure these are adopted as appropriate into our lead generation processes
