The Senior Sales Training Specialist is responsible to design, develop, and deliver sales training programs that improve sales effectiveness, enable product adoption, and drive revenue outcomes. In addition, this role leads onboarding and continuous training to equip new hires and tenured sales team members with skills and knowledge to be successful in selling products, software and services. This role partners cross-functionally to assess training needs, design and implement scalable enablement solutions, and enhance training programs based on performance data, in support of business and revenue objectives. Essential Functions Design and deliver sales training programs (e.g., onboarding, product training, consultative selling, sales process) that improve sales capability and performance outcomes across B2B sales teams and partners Lead the end-to-end delivery of onboarding for new sales team members and working with managers to ensure early success Conduct training needs assessments using business performance data, stakeholder input, and sales metrics to identify skill gaps and prioritize enablement initiatives Develop engaging, scalable training content and materials (e.g., facilitator guides, e-learning modules, job aids, playbooks) aligned to product strategy and sales motions Evaluate training effectiveness through defined metrics (e.g., participation, knowledge retention, sales performance impact) and implement continuous improvements to increase program ROI Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to align training strategies with go-to-market priorities and new product or service launches Lead or contribute to cross-functional enablement projects, driving execution, timelines, and adoption of new tools, processes, or methodologies Deliver training through multiple formats (in-person, virtual, digital platforms) to support diverse and geographically distributed sales audiences Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Sales, Training, or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience 5 years of combined experience in sales training, sales enablement, sales operations, or frontline sales and 2 years of direct experience designing or delivering sales training programs and Experience in a B2B sales environment Preferred Requirements Frontline sales experience Dental industry experience Experience with Salesforce, CRM, Workday and/or Seismic platforms Skills and Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional facilitation skills with the ability to engage and influence sales audiences Experience designing, creating, and delivering training content in live, virtual, and on-demand formats and using learning management systems (LMS), content authoring tools, and virtual training platforms Experience with sales training programs (i.e., reseller or partner channel, product launches, go-to-market enablement initiatives) Knowledge of adult learning principles or curriculum design; ability to evaluate sales training programs, analyze data, identify training gaps, and recommend targeted enablement solutions Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives effectively and deliver on timelines Strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders Ability to develop, coach, and mentor others in sales skills and behaviors Physical and Cognitive Demands Communicate/Hearing Frequently Communicate/Talking Frequently Learn New Tasks or Concepts Frequently Make Timely Decisions in the Context of a Workflow Frequently Complete Tasks Independently Constantly Maintain Focus Constantly Remember Processes & Procedures Constantly Stationary Position (Seated) Constantly Vision Constantly Travel Requirements This position requires occasional travel, up to 20%
