Responsibilities

- Fresh graduate or early-career candidate with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Solid academic foundation in engineering analysis, data analysis, statistics, product validation, or manufacturing-related problem solving.
- Basic programming or data analysis skills, such as Python, JMP, SAS, Spotfire, SQL, MATLAB, R, or similar tools.
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn HDD products and component technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with English proficiency sufficient for professional working environments.
Requirements
- Internship, research project, thesis, coursework, or competition experience related to product design validation, component characterization, data analytics, quality improvement, statistical analysis, manufacturing engineering, or industrial automation.
- Exposure to HDD, semiconductor, electronics, precision manufacturing, storage products, or component engineering is a plus.
- Basic understanding of magnetic recording, HDD components, head/media process, head device process, or storage technologies is a plus, but not required.
- Experience using Python, JMP, Spotfire, SAS, SQL, or other tools for data cleaning, visualization, statistical analysis, or automation is preferred.
- Exposure to statistical methods, such as DOE, regression analysis, hypothesis testing, SPC, correlation analysis, or process capability analysis is a plus.
- Strong interest in HDD/component product design validation, engineering problem solving, and continuous improvement.
