SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Integrated IT Services Administrator provides technical leadership, oversees, and maintains the internal computing/network environments and associated management systems. This includes leading ongoing operations, coordinating activities across IT Operations teams, establishing and implementing operational procedures and standards, and performing design and roadmap development based on technology lifecycles and changing business requirements. Position Details Union - This position is permanent full time. Core Responsibilities Design and Implementation Analyze, design, and implement strategies for continuous deployment while ensuring high availability on systems. Design, coordinate implementations, and provide advanced support for technical environment associated with the corporate IT infrastructure to meet functionality requirements Plan, design, automate, implement and/or provide technical support for tools, standards, hardware, network, operating systems, applications, products, and services. Plan and coordinate for required upgrades to hardware, operating system, and layered software products. System Analysis and Enhancements Lead the ongoing cycle of identification, testing, pilot and deployment of security and quality updates. Participate in the research, design and implementation of desktop hardware, software and end-user peripheral technologies. Work with internal and external stakeholders, including software vendors, to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis. Monitor key system performance metrics and trends, taking corrective action as necessary to ensure performance and reliable operation. Administration Develop and monitor the solutions and processes for supporting and monitoring hardware assets, including device lifecycle, acquisition, distribution and disposal of corporate assets. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end user technology, computer systems, servers, and networks. Lead and document the continuous development of standards and operating procedures, and review, audit, and follow-up to ensure compliance.
