Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java-based applications.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Manage source code and CI/CD processes using Git and build tools.
• Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, and API Integration.
• Experience with SQL databases and database design concepts.
• Proficiency in Git, Maven, and/or Gradle.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
