POSITION SUMMARY Located in the Cincinnati market, this position offers the opportunity to function as a crew lead and to interact with customers through the installation of solid surface, granite, and quartz surfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Ensuring strong communication with customers (including effective problem resolution when applicable) Reading orders and installing countertops to customer specifications Facilitating safe, efficient, and precise installation of products Obtaining proper customer sign off for work completed At Lumbermen's, our business is built on relationships. It's crucial that the person selected to fill this role is a safety-minded team player who gets energy from contributing to collaborative success. This position offers a $400 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE. REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School diploma/GED required Chauffer's license with a clean driving record (can assist with obtaining chauffeur's license) At least three years of countertop installation experience REQUIRED SKILLS Ability to lead by example, teaching and training new installers Ability to follow prescribed programs and standards Continuous improvement mentality Desire to help grow and develop the program and the business Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Ability to complete tasks with accuracy Strong attention to detail and desire to "do things right the first time" Ability to meet deadlines Ability to safely operate all tools and equipment in the fabricating shop and on the installation truck Ability to work independently or as a part of a team Commitment to work safely and efficiently at all times Ability to read a tape measure Dependable and reliable Ability to safely lift and move granite and quartz countertop products and other heavy materials Ability to draw CAD (AutoCAD) beneficial but not required , install experience, and/or templating experience
