Responsibilities

  • Responsible for following up with external suppliers on order acknowledgements, estimated ship dates and shipping cost to close Direct Ship purchase and customer orders.
  • Analyze and process direct ship purchase orders that are put on hold

Requirements

  • Degree preferred; relevant years of work experience in a materials coordinator, materials planning & purchasing role, or similar roles which requires frequent communication with suppliers, customers or cross functional teams will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong data analytic skills
  • Experience effectively communicating with suppliers
  • Experience using Oracle, ERP System, or equivalent highly preferred
  • Must be detail oriented, very well organized & data driven
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel) highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Well organized with multiple priorities with tight time limit
  • Experience with material planning, purchasing, sourcing preferred

JOB SUMMARY: Trane Technologies in LaCrosse, WI is hiring a Materials Coordinator . In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and closing our direct ship orders. This requires contacting and working with suppliers, accessing supplier shipping information and populating the Trane Oracle system with the respective information required. The position is also responsible for maintaining the purchasing attributes for the parts set up in Oracle, coordinating tax exemptions, and other Materials Planning related activities and/or projects. As part of continuous improvement effort, this position will also be supporting, creating, and maintaining Standard Work Processes.
