Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Scheduling
  • Assist in preparing and updating daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Support the release and tracking of production work orders based on agreed priorities.

  • Escalate material or resource constraints that may affect production output or delivery.
  • Operational Reporting
  • Prepare daily production updates and weekly operational reports.
  • Maintain KPI dashboards and production tracking files.
  • Monitor production output, WIP, schedule adherence, and delivery performance.
  • Provide accurate data for management review meetings.
  • Cross-functional Communication
  • Coordinate routine communication among Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Management.
  • Support daily production meetings by preparing notes, action items, and follow-up records.
  • Follow up with action owners until items are completed or escalated.
  • Escalate unresolved operational issues to the appropriate manager.
  • Continuous Improvement Support
  • Assist in identifying workflow gaps, delays, or bottlenecks.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and operational improvement activities.
  • Participate in improvement projects as assigned.
  • Suggest practical improvements to planning, tracking, and coordination processes.
  • Documentation & System Administration
  • Maintain production schedules, planning records, WIP trackers, and KPI files.
  • Update production status in operational tracking files accurately and on time.
  • Ensure operational documents are current, organized, and properly distributed.
  • Maintain records in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Entry-level candidates or fresh graduates with strong organizational and analytical skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior internship or work experience in manufacturing, production planning, operations coordination, or supply chain is an advantage.
  • Exposure to semiconductor or electronics manufacturing is preferred but not required.

  • Basic analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

The role focuses on coordination, documentation, reporting, and follow-up support. It does not make technical engineering decisions or directly supervise production personnel.
