About the role

You will serve as a Data Management Specialist (Aircraft) in the MRO-L of FLTREADCAN EAST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Providing professional, economic and efficient logistics support for Aircraft, Sub systems, Propulsion, Avionics and Component programs throughout their lifecycle and ensure technical data policy and support are provided to the FRCE. 2) Monitoring the Central Technical Publication Library (CTPL) and other related digital records to efficiently plan and implement changes to engineering drawings, technical directives and Portable Electronic Maintenance Aides (PEMA), ensuring that changes to these major systems are properly integrated to all aircraft and components rework procedures at the facility. 3) Leading a team of fellow Data Management Specialists and Technicians, delegating assignments, addressing problems that need to be solved, tracking milestones and deadlines to ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are fully integrated in their work plans. 4) Coordinating and developing of specific local initiatives and technical data strategies among various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) within the command to ensure all national polices are adhered to and 5) Possessing knowledge of aircraft terminology, aircraft component parts, technical references and specifications is required to convey technical information effectively.
