Competitive compensation and benefitsFlexible working hoursProfessional onboarding and training optionsCareer coaching and development opportunitiesHealth benefits401(k)Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer II is responsible forThis position is part of the Quality Systems Department located in Ames, Iowa, and will be on-site.In this role, a typical day will look like:Lead root cause investigations for customer complaints and internal quality issues using statistical tools (DOE, Gage R&R, Six Sigma methodologies)Drive product and process validation activities, including material testing and machine validationMaintain and manage Agile PLM change processes as a change analystSupport new product development and sourcing activities through quality validation and statistical analysisOwn quality system processes, including CAPA, SCAR, document control, internal audits, and trainingPartner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to improve performance against quality metricsThe essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a related technical fieldMinimum 3+ years of experience in quality systems or engineering roles in a manufacturing environmentExperience working within Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or FDA 21 CFR 820)Demonstrated experience leading root cause investigations and quality improvement initiativesExperience with Agile PLM or similar product lifecycle management systemsUS ONLY :The compensation range for this role is $68,000 - $84,000 USD per year.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible schedulePerformance bonus
