About the role
The Burton D. Morgan College of Aeronautics Flight Instructor performs flight and ground training operations under CFR Part 61, 91, and 141. The Flight Instructor assists with required aircraft maintenance and compliance with all service directories and recurring service and inspections. Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists with ensuring safe flight and ground operations of Lynn University aircraft. Train students in all part 141 approved ground and flight course. Provide flight, simulator and ground instruction in accordance with Lynn University COA and FAA regulations and procedures. Assists with compliance with all maintenance requirements for Lynn University aircraft. Maintain student records and ensure that course standards, training requirements and objectives are met by each student in each flight course. Assists with compliance with all Part 141 requirements for Lynn University. Assists with holding monthly ground safety training sessions for all Lynn University flyers. Assist the College of Aeronautics with Lynn University events. Duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current CFI or CFII rating with current FAA medical.
- Flight experience as required by CFR Part 141.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from a four university or college (preferred)
