Position Status: Full time Shift: Variable Less than 12 hour shift (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt A Brief Overview The Dietitian Support Associate is responsible for working under the supervision of a licensed Dietitian and may conduct nutrition screening, calculating intake records, providing basic patient education, and serving as a liaison between Patient Services and Clinical Nutrition within the department. All work must be reviewed and countersigned by supervising licensed Dietitian with daily supervision and case reviews required. Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field Required Master's Degree Currently enrolled in Master's program or recently graduated, not to exceed 6 months post graduation. Experience Qualifications Completed or currently completing accredited dietetic internship program Required If post Master's degree must show documentation of preparation of CDR examination. Required Skills and Abilities Ability to counsel and educate others. Ability to understand and interpret the objectives of the nutrition intervention program Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to patients and families.
