Coil Winder (Machine Operator) - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• In this function you will:
• Wind standard coils for dry type transformers
• Utilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demands
• Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.
• Maintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standards
• Adhere to company regulations, including adherence to policies regarding safety, attendance and punctuality
• Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints
• Keep all work areas clean, organized and presentable
• Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations

Requirements

• Required (Basics):
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Preferred:
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Forklift operator certification (can be trained on-site)
• 3 or more years of experience in related field preferred
• 6 or more months using soldering/brazing/welding experience OR a completed welding certificate from an accredited institution or high school trades course
• Previous Machine Operation experience
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Repetitive use of mallet to shape coils is required.
• Ability to weld and braze
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment as required
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
• Pushing & Pulling is required during the manufacturing process

We are a leader in the design and production of critical power distribution products for many specific segements. The Coil Winder (Machine Operator)- 1st Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime. Hours: 5:00am- 1:30pm. Full Benefits and 401k plan is offered to you day one of employment. The hourly rate for this position is $27.04 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
