About the role
We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer specializing in Cards Platforms to support enterprise-scale Cards Acquiring and Cards Issuing initiatives across business platforms and payments domains. The role focuses on end-to-end support of cards platform enhancements, production stability, and seamless delivery of business-critical cards services within a fast-paced banking environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and Agile squads to ensure smooth execution of cards-related initiatives, system integrations, release management, and production support while maintaining high platform reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities - Support Cards Platform projects, enhancements, and BAU (Business-As-Usual) activities across issuing and acquiring domains. - Perform requirement analysis in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business, technology, operations, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery of cards initiatives. - Support system integration activities across cards platforms, payment systems, and enterprise banking systems. - Participate in testing cycles including SIT, UAT, regression, and production validation. - Support release management activities including deployment coordination, cutover planning, and post-release validation. - Handle production support activities including incident management, defect analysis, and resolution tracking. - Ensure platform stability, availability, and performance of cards systems. - Work closely with Agile squads to deliver continuous enhancements and improvements. - Monitor, analyze, and resolve issues related to cards transactions, authorization, settlement, and reconciliation. - Contribute to improving cards services, payment flows, and customer experience. - Ensure compliance with banking standards, security guidelines, and operational governance. Required Skills & Experience - Strong experience in Cards Platforms (Issuing and/or Acquiring). - Experience in Cards product lifecycle support including authorization, settlement, clearing, and reconciliation. - Strong understanding of cards processing systems and payment ecosystem. - Experience in requirement gathering, analysis, and functional documentation. - Hands-on experience in system integration, testing support, and release management. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Strong experience in production support, incident management, and defect resolution. - Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including business users, IT teams, and vendors. - Strong understanding of banking payment systems and enterprise application environments. Nice to Have - Exposure to card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.). - Experience with digital payments, tokenization, or wallet integrations. - Knowledge of APIs and enterprise integration frameworks. - Exposure to automation, monitoring tools, or DevOps practices.
