Electrical Applications Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in applications engineering, design engineering, or field engineering supporting electrical infrastructure.
• At least 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience .
• Strong understanding of data center electrical systems, including:
• UL 891 switchboards
• Power Distribution Units (PDUs)
• Static Transfer Switches (STSs)
• Redundancy configurations such as N+1 and 2N
• Ability to read and interpret:
• Electrical one-line diagrams
• Engineering specifications
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel domestically as business needs require.

In this role, you will work directly with customers, contractors, consultants, sales teams, and internal departments to develop technical solutions that meet project requirements from initial design through production and commissioning.
