Coordinates matters referred to the commission or board for action by the commission or board; Prepares agenda for board or commission meetings; Gathers necessary reports and background data on matters to be covered, and presents reports and data in proper form; Assembles materials required for hearing; Prepares or compiles financial, statistical, or numerical statements and/or accompanying descriptive reports; Records or takes and transcribes minutes of board or commission meetings, conferences, and public hearings; Answers correspondence by independently composing letters, statements, and memoranda for the signature of the chairperson of the board or commission; Prepares reports requiring compilation; Prepares summaries of activities, reports, or other data; Prepares documents in final form from rough or other data; Sets up and maintains filing systems; Prepares purchase orders; Makes arrangements for hotel and travel accommodations; and Performs other related duties as required.
