Your Role at Cabot Lead and support a team of Transportation Specialists in the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of all transportation activities, ensuring timely and accurate shipment scheduling across all transport modes. The role is responsible for optimizing team performance, enhancing service quality, and delivering results in line with internal KPIs. It ensures correct system setup, effective cost control, and continuous performance monitoring. Additionally, the role drives process consistency, supports team development, and serves as the primary point of expertise and escalation within the transportation function. All intra-regional shipment activities & all imports into EMEA & NA regions. How You Will Make an Impact Own the delivery and performance of the Transportation team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and high service standards. Lead day-to-day team operations, including workload prioritization, task allocation, and service continuity. Monitor and drive KPI performance (e.g., OTD, OTS, invoice accuracy, booking data quality), implementing corrective actions when needed. Act as the main point of contact and escalation for operational issues, collaborating closely with Procurement, Customer Service, Finance, Carriers, and other stakeholders. Lead people management activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and team development. Build team capability through training, knowledge sharing, and continuous development initiatives. Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, supporting standardization and automation, and implementing sustainable solutions. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, audit requirements, and process governance standards. Coordinate cross-functional projects and support implementation of new processes, tools, and system changes. Support broader Transportation and GBS initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. Act as backup for critical activities when required to ensure business continuity. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the employer. What You Will Bring to Cabot Higher education or equivalent experience. 3-5 years' service related experience or other relevant experience. Previous experience leading a team will be considered an advantage. Customer orientated mindset, previous experience working with customers. Ability to build and maintain good relationships with customers in any situation. Previous experience in the logistics field will be considered an advantage, but is not mandatory. Additional Information Working Hours: 13:00 - 21:30 Temporary 1.5 year contract with possibility of extension. Monthly allowance & Yearly bonus. Health insurance from first day of work. Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days' work from home). Salary: 1600 -2200 EUR Gross. The final salary offer will depend on the candidate's previous experience and qualifications.
