The role of Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing and driving our sales pipelines for our Waratah residential site . This includes sourcing and supporting prospective residents, and their representatives, and meeting occupancy targets ; as well as partner ing with prospective alliances in care ( eg hospitals, social workers, e tc ), communicating clearly the services and benefits HammondCare offers. Alongside local Residential Care Operations colleagues, the role will also work to ensure that prospective residents, and their representatives, understand the service delivery and financial costs associated with the provision of Residential Services. The Admissions Coordinator will liaise with the residential management team to ensure the best possible decision can be made with respect to the admission of new residents. This is a permanent on-site, full-time role based at our r esidential hom e in Waratah with the flexibility to work in Cardiff from time to time . The role also supports our Scone site and will require travel to Scone once every three months with overnight sta y s . An Australian Driver's licence and access to your own car is essential. Responsibilities

  • Drive and own the "enquiries to arrivals" process and pipeline, for potential residents into HammondCare Residential Care while delivering on occupancy targets
  • Proactive stakeholder and relationship management (internal and external)
  • Ensure that prospective residents and their representatives understand the costs associated with moving into residential aged care, and the different payment options that are available to them
  • Provide all necessary information to key stakeholders, to ensure the best possible decision can be made with respect to admission of new residents
  • Create streamlined and timely processes in order to understand prospective resident's, and their representatives ', needs, goals and preferences and admit them to those HammondCare Residential services which best meet their needs
  • In consultation with Regional Admissions Lead, actively implement and improve the enquiry to admission plans to meet Residential Services targets
  • Leadership and effective day-to-day management of the residential care, "sales" pipe-line for the site
  • Conduct surveys with our residents/families
  • Effectively promote our organisational reputation, driving occupancy levels and fulfilling our mission in consultation with the Regional Admissions Lead
  • Maintain strong and effective relationships with the Residential Care Operational teams, Marketing, Finance and other key internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop effective and efficient communications with prospective residents and their representatives
  • A ctively develop regular networking with other HammondCare services and external related organisations (in local clinical and social networks) to promote Residential Care and facilitate clear referral pathways for prospective residents
