Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for all aspects of customer service; receiving and processing orders, direct communication with truck drivers and customers, follow up and problem solve orders when necessary, and provide efficient and professional service to drivers and customers.
- Provide exceptional customer and driver support by processing orders, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage high‑volume calls and communications with truck drivers and plant personnel across 12 scale locations.
- Issue accurate tickets, maintain organized transaction records, and process overweight permits daily.
- Enter customer and job data into JWS and coordinate deliveries with freight carriers for efficiency.
- Communicate order confirmations, status updates, and ensure timely, accurate order processing.
- Provide after‑hours or early‑morning shift coverage as needed, including during inclement weather.
- Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and rotational Saturdays 6:00AM - 12:00PM. Ability to work 4:00AM - 12:00PM shift as needed for vacation coverage.

- Work Environment
- This role is based in an office setting within an aggregates operation. It may require occasional visits to plant or site locations. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on delivering exceptional service to our customers.
- Physical Demands of the Job
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.
- Occasional walking on uneven surfaces during site visits.
- May require lifting or carrying office supplies or small packages (up to 25 lbs).
- Use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
