Responsibilities

  • Engage with the client's AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) and key business stakeholders to define AI strategy, implementation roadmap, and governance across APAC.
  • Conduct research and analysis on AI regulations, Responsible AI guidelines, information security requirements, and operational constraints across APAC countries.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and business stakeholders to assess regional AI platforms, data ecosystems, and technology landscape supporting AI initiatives.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize AI and dataanalytics use cases by working closely with regional business units and branchoffices.
  • Support the design, implementation, and adoption of Generative AI and AI-enabled business solutions to improve operational efficiency and business value.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions withbusiness users to gather requirements, define target operating models, anddrive AI and data transformation initiatives.
  • Design and deliver AI adoption, data governance, and data literacy training programs to regional users and stakeholders.
  • Establish, refine, and operate enterprise AI governance and data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and effective adoption.
  • Execute enterprise data governance initiatives by translating strategic objectives into actionable implementation plans and measurable deliverables.
  • Analyze and document enterprise data flows, data aggregation processes, data ownership, and reporting lineage across multiple source systems.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of enterprise data lineage, metadata management, and data governance tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, technology, data engineering, and data science teams to ensure successful AI and data solution delivery.
  • Apply industry best practices and lessons learned from previous AI, data governance, and analytics initiatives to accelerate project delivery and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3years of experience in AI implementation, data analytics, data governance, orenterprise data management, preferably within the banking or financial servicesindustry.
  • Experience working on AI, Generative AI, data analytics, or digital transformation initiatives across APAC.
  • Prior consulting experience in a consulting firm, or experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Project Manager delivering banking transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data governance, data quality, data lineage, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.
  • Good understanding of AI governance, Responsible AI principles, and regulatory considerations relating to AI adoption.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, business processes, and enterprise data management within financial institutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex business and data-related challenges.
  • Proven consultant skillset, including logical thinking, issue resolution, effective communication, meeting facilitation, and documentation.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience, with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams and regions.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese (in order to communicate effectively with Japanese speaking clients).
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced consulting environment.
