About the role

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned & operated manufacturing center located in NY. Specialized experience at GS-12: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, such as: (1)Identify and evaluate a wide range of operation program processes to provide direct support to management; (2) Utilize data analysis to prepare reports and/or findings based on knowledge of the operational programs and activities of the organization; and (3) Use various project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum, to assist with projects and/or studies to recommend solutions to problems in organizational structure, administrative procedures and work processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
